Yoga is an ancient art that connects the mind and body. It is an exercise that we perform by balancing the elements of our bodies. In addition, it helps us meditate and relax. Yoga is a weapon through which we can fight against our stress and anxiety, people enjoy harmony and peace. The term Yoga has been derivated from a Sanskrit word which translates to basically union and discipline. Yoga essentially originated in the subcontinent of India. It has been around since ancient time and was performed by yogis. 21st of June is celebrated as International Day of Yoga. Mountain pose, Chair pose, Triangle pose, Bridge pose, Tree pose are some famous yoga poses.
